Job description
What will you do?
Will you be our data-driven Category Manager? Strengthen our team and together take charge of the parts range for Volkswagen, Audi, SEAT, Å koda, CUPRA and Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles in the Netherlands!
As Category Manager, you will be responsible for various product categories and one or more of our leading brands. You will be responsible for managing your own range of parts and ensure optimal pricing, margins and sales results. To this end, you work closely with various stakeholders: manufacturers, suppliers, dealers and various internal teams, including logistics and support.
Analysing sales and margins for your categories.
Develop and implement strategies to increase sales.
Ensuring the right assortment, benchmarking and pricing.
Optimising the availability of product groups.
Switching between the factory and our brands for your product categories.
Supporting repair and maintenance propositions in collaboration with Service Marketers and fellow Category Managers.
What do we ask of you?
HBO/WO work and thinking level
At least 3 years' work experience in a similar or related position
Competencies:
You have an entrepreneurial attitude and know how to get others on board
Excellent communication skills
You have strong analytical skills and can translate data and analysis into concrete opportunities
You are able to organise your own work and prioritise well
You can switch effectively between different interests and stakeholders and know how to get results
